Zhangye City, located in the middle of Hexi Corridor in China, is known as “the Pearl of Hexi Corridor”. The Ninth Kindergarten in Zhangye has officially opened in September 2022. The kindergarten has a total investment of 53.79 million yuan, covers an area of 43.8 mu, and a total construction area of 9921 square meters. It has advanced supporting facilities and can accommodate 540 children from 18 teaching classes at the same time.
In terms of heating, in order to meet the demand for excellent equipment, Ganzhou District Education Bureau chose Hien among many brands in the end, after visiting and investigating project cases and comparing the heating operation effect and energy-saving effect of different brands. After the on-site survey, Hien’s installation team equipped the kindergarten with 7 sets of 60P air-source ultra-low temperature units with heating and cooling dual supply according to the actual situation, along with the outdoor units, water tanks, water pumps, pipelines, pipeline valves, and accessories have all been installed in a standardized manner, with supervision and guidance throughout the entire project.
This project adopts PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) for automatic control, so that the Hien cooling and heating dual supply heat pumps can automatically adjust the valves according to the real-time water temperature changes, intelligently control the operation of each unit and the indoor temperature. It not only meets the indoor temperature requirements but also avoids unnecessary waste, so that the Hien heat pumps can achieve maximum energy saving and high efficiency in daily operation.
During the operation of the previous heating season, the Hien air-source cooling and heating units were stable and efficient, and the indoor temperature of the kindergarten was kept at 22-24 degrees Celsius. The suitable temperature diffused from the floor heating cares for the healthy growth of children.
Let’s take a look at the money-saving data on Hien’s air-source dual heating & cooling heat pumps. It is understood that after one heating season, the heating cost of nearly 10,000 square meters in the kindergarten is about 220,000 yuan (it would cost about 290 000 RMB, if the government’s unified central heating was used), which showings that the Hien heat pumps have effectively reduced the annual heating cost of the kindergarten.
