Hien’s Super Large Air Source Heat Pump Units Assist the 24800 ㎡ Heating Upgrade of Dongchuan Town Boarding Primary School in Qinghai Province.

Qinghai, located in the northeast of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is known as the “Roof of the World”. Cold and long winters, snowy and windy springs, and a large temperature difference between day and night here. The project case of Hien to be shared today – Dongchuan Town Boarding Primary School, is exactly located in Menyuan County, Qinghai Province.

Project Overview

The boarding primary school in Dongchuan Town used coal boilers for heating, which is also the main heating method for people here. As is well known, traditional boilers for heating have problems such as environmental pollution and unsafe. Therefore, in 2022, Dongchuan Town Boarding Primary School responded to the clean heating policy by upgrading its heating methods and selecting energy-saving and efficient air source heat pumps for heating. After fully understanding and a round of comparison, the school chose Hien, which has been focused on the air source heat pump for more than 20 years and has an excellent reputation in the industry.

After on-site inspection of the project site, Hien’s professional installation team equipped the school with 15 units of 120P ultra-low temperature heating and cooling air source heat pumps, meeting its heating needs of 24800 square meters. The super large units used in this project are 3 meters long, 2.2 meters wide, 2.35 meters high, and weigh 2800KG each.

Project Design

Hien has designed independent systems for the main teaching building, student dormitories, guard rooms, and other areas of the school based on different functions, occupied time and duration. These systems run in different time periods, greatly reducing outdoor pipeline costs and avoiding heat loss caused by excessively long outdoor pipelines, thereby achieving energy-saving effects.

Installation and Maintenance

Hien’s team completed all installation processes with standardized installation, while Hien’s professional supervisor provided guidance throughout the installation process, further ensuring the stable operation. After the units are put into use, Hien’s after-sales service is fully maintained and followed up to ensure that everything is foolproof.

Apply Effect

The air source heat pumps that used in this project are dual heating and cooling systems, using water as the medium. It is warm yet non dry, evenly radiates heat, and has a balanced temperature, allowing students and teachers to experience the right temperature anywhere in the classroom without feeling the air is dry at all.

Through a severe cold test during the heating season, and currently all units operate stably and efficiently, continuously delivering constant temperature heat energy to maintain the indoor temperature at around 23 ℃, allowing school teachers and students to warm and comfortable through cold days.
