DTU (Data Transmission Unit)

A communication device enabling remote monitoring/control of heat pump systems. By connecting to cloud servers via wired or wireless networks, DTU allows real-time tracking of performance, energy usage, and diagnostics. Users adjust settings (e.g., temperature, modes) via smartphones or computers, enhancing efficiency and management.

IoT (Internet of Things) Platform

Centralized systems controlling multiple heat pumps. Sales teams remotely analyze user data and system performance through the platform, enabling proactive maintenance and customer support.

EVI (Enhanced Vapor Injection)

BUS (Boiler Upgrade Scheme)

UK government initiative (England/Wales) subsidizing replacement of fossil-fuel heating systems with heat pumps or biomass boilers.

TON & BTU

• TON: Measures cooling capacity (1 TON = 12,000 BTU/h ≈ 3.52 kW).
  Example: A 3 TON heat pump = 10.56 kW output.
• BTU/h (British Thermal Units per hour): Standard heat output measurement.
